That hammered the final nail in to the coffin for me and I lost all respect for the story after that. I also found the copy of the book I read was riddled with errors, whether from the printing or writing, I can't say. This is one of those books where the reader can see what is coming from a mile away but the characters are either too dim or too self-absorbed to see it. The story really failed to make the most of the legend and bring it into a modern love story that you could believe in and enjoy.
